| Based on the requirement of the preparation of the electronic testing standard of the raw silk size, the coefficient of variation of the raw silk size becomes one of the main indexes in evaluating the quality of the raw silk. In this paper the sampling distribution of the coefficient of variation when the population is normal is found, and based on the distribution the condition under which the mean and variance of the distribution exist is also deduced, as well as the expression of the mean and variance, which provides theoretical basis for the preparation of the electronic testing standard of the raw silk size. |

在数理统计理论中变异系数CV的分布由于其一阶矩不存在，使得该分布在应用中受到种种限制。我国在进行生丝纤度电子检验反击理论研究中，需要解决生丝纤度CV系数的分布及其分布特征问题。根据这一状况，论文对于正态分布总体，在假设总体变异系数（即均方差与平均值之比）很小（在生丝检验实践中，这表示纤度平均值远大于纤度均方差，这是允许的）的条件下，给出生丝纤度变异系数的分布及其统计特征平均值与方差。并通过生丝检验的模拟试验检验了所得到的理论结果。研究为应用所需要的变异系数分布理论提供了系统的论证及结果。在理论和实际应用上说，都是很有意义的。
