细水雾阻隔火焰热辐射作用的模拟研究

摘要:火焰热辐射是火灾中的主要传热方式之一,对火灾的蔓延、人员的安全逃生具有很大的影响。研究表明:雾滴对火焰热辐射有着较强的衰减作用,热辐射衰减是细水雾灭火机理的重要组成部分。因此利用细水雾阻隔热辐射将具有良好的应用前景,但目前缺乏系统的研究。本文从热辐射传递方程和Mie散射理论出发,考虑细水雾雾滴对辐射热的散射和吸收作用,建立了细水雾阻隔火焰热辐射作用的两通量模型,并给出了一种简化算法;建立了相应的小尺度模拟实验平台,对本文的模型进行验证,结果表明:实验测量值与模型计算值合理吻合。在此基础上进一步探讨了火焰温度、细水雾特性参数、雾场厚度等参数对热辐射阻隔效率的影响。

Studies on Flame Radiant Heat Blocking by Water Mist
Abstract:Thermal radiation is a major heat transfer mode in fires which has a great threat to fire spread and evacuation of people. Previous researches suggest that thermal heat attenuation is a major fire suppression mechanism for water mist. While water mist is considered as a good provision for thermal radiation protection, there now is lack of systemic research and proper engineering tools. In this paper a simple two-flux model is put forward for determining the attenuation of the thermal radiation of a fire by means of water mist on the base of Mie scattering theory. It accounts for both the scattering and the absorption effects of the droplets. Comparisons on the experimental and the predicted values show a reasonably consistent. Results obtained for thermal radiation attenuation effects due to flame temperature and characteristics of water mist are also presented.
