Hf对Zr(65-x)HfxCu17.5Ni10Al7.5合金的玻璃形成能力和热稳定性的影响

摘要:采用铜模吸铸法成功制备了直径3 mm的Zr(65-x)HfxCu17.5Ni10Al7.5(x=0~10)大块非晶合金及其复合材料。利用X射线衍射、光学显微镜、示差扫描量热仪(DSC)和差热分析仪(DTA)等技术手段,研究了Hf部分替代Zr后对淬火态Zr(65-x)HfxCu175Ni10Al7.5合金的结构、微观组织、玻璃形成能力以及热稳定性的影响。结果表明,1 %的Hf替代Zr后形成了大块非晶合金,其对原合金的玻璃形成能力及热稳定性的影响不大。而2~10 %的Hf替代Zr后形成了大块非晶基复合材料,并且随着Hf含量的增加,非晶基体的热稳定性逐渐提高,但合金的玻璃形成能力呈下降趋势。

Effect of Hf on the glass forming ability and thermal stability of Zr(65-x)HfxCu17.5Ni10Al7.5 alloys
Abstract:The Zr(65-x)HfxCu17.5Ni10Al7.5 bulk metallic glasses and its composites (x=0-10) with a diameter of 3 mm were successfully synthesized by copper mould suction casting method. The effect of a partial replacement of Zr with Hf on structure, microstructure, glass forming ability and thermal stability of the as-quenched alloys were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and differential thermal analysis. The results indicate that the substitution of 1at.% Hf for Zr leads to the formation of bulk metallic glass and the variations in glass forming ability and thermal stability can be negligible. However, bulk metallic glass matrix composites as a result of the substitution of 2-10 at.% Hf for part of the Zr enhance the thermal stability but reduce the glass forming ability when increasing Hf content.
