一种改进的三维直方图的图像阈值分割方法

摘要:本文对基于传统的三维灰度直方图的阈值分割方法作了分析,针对其区域划分的缺陷和运算速度慢的缺点,改进了传统的三维直方图,并在此基础上提出了一种新的根据最大类间方差原则的阈值图像分割方法,并进行了仿真实验。实验的结果表明,所提出的改进方法是有效的,该算法的分割效果较好,运算速度也得到了提高。

Image threshold segmentation method based on an improved 3D histogram
Abstract:Image segmentation plays an essential role in the field of image processing. It is usually a fundamental step for further image processing, image description and recognition for example. According to the analysis of the threshold method for image segmentation based on the traditional 3-D gray level histogram which partitions the areas with some wrong pixels and processes slowly, the 3-D histograms improved and a novel threshold method based on this 3-D histogram is brought forward which uses the maximum between cluster variance as the rule. The experiment shows that the segmentation result of this method is better and its computation time is reduced much.
