Rank Deficient APES Spectral Estimator

摘要:In this paper, a non-parametric adaptive filter, same structure as APES filter, is derived for spectral estimation by using very few available snapshots. Owing to the small snapshots number problem, the correlation between the signal at interest frequency and the corresponding clutter-plus-noise must be considered in the proposed method. Comparison with the rank-deficient RCF spectral estimator, the proposed estimator has excellent estimation performance though its resolution is slightly worse. The numerical example is provided to demonstrate performance of the new spectral estimator.
