生物样品中MeV质子的能量损失和能量离散的研究

摘要:为了研究荷能离子在生物样品中的能量损失和能量离散,我们分别使用1.8MeV和2.8MeV质子分别辐照不同厚度的洋葱内表皮膜,为了增强对比性,在该实验中,我们还使用了Mylar膜和高分子滤膜。当质子穿过生物样品和高分子样品后,我们可以利用透射能谱来测量质子的能量损失和能量离散。实验结果显示,在以上的生物样品中,MeV质子的能量损失值和TRIM程序模拟的结果相吻合,但是质子的能量离散值却与TRIM程序模拟结果有很大的不同。我们将在本文中讨论这种新现象的机理

The study of energy loss and straggling of MeV protons in biological samples
Abstract:In order to study the energy loss and its straggling of energetic ions in biological samples, onion membrane samples with different thickness were irradiated with 1.8 MeV and 2.8 MeV protons, respectively. For comparison, Mylar membrane and filter membrane were also used in this experiment. The energy loss and straggling of these protons after penetrated from the biological and polymer samples were measured with transmission energy spectrum. The experimental results showed that the energy losses of MeV protons in the biological samples above are consistent with TRIM simulation but the energy straggling of the protons is different from the simulation results. The possible mechanisms of these new phenomena were discussed in this paper.
