侧链型含氟聚酰亚胺的热光性能研究

摘要:通过后重氮偶合法在含氟聚酰亚胺分子链上引入高折射率的对硝基偶氮苯基团,成功制备得高热光系数和高热稳定性的聚合物波导材料。当侧链摩尔接枝率达到最大值98%时,该含氟聚酰亚胺在TE和TM模式下的热光系数和体积膨胀系数的平均绝对值分别为304ppm/K和440ppm/K,而且保持了236.0℃的高玻璃化转变温度。但热光温度偏振系数与体积膨胀的温度偏振系数也同时随对硝基偶氮苯侧链接枝含量的增加而同时增大,两者呈线性的关系。

Investigation on thermo-optical properties of fluorine-containing polyimides with azo side-chains
Abstract:The fluorine-containing polyimides with azo side-chain were synthesized via a post-azo-coupling reaction. Their thermo-optic coefficients and volume expansion coefficients for TE- and TM-polarized lights were measured by attenuated total reflection (ATR) configuration in different temperatures. Results indicate that the value of thermo-optic coefficients and volume expansion coefficients increase with the content of grafted azo side-chains. Furthermore, the anisotropies in thermo-optic coefficients of the polyimides with small birefringence exhibit linear relationship with the anisotropies in volume expansion coefficients. An experiential expression was proposed to fit the relationship of thermo-optic coefficient and volume expansion coefficient in temperature polarized for fluorine-containing polyimides with azo side-chain.
