基于微型谐振腔的环形光探测器的设计

摘要:提出了一种基于微型谐振腔的新型环形光探测器,该探测器结构紧凑,较之RCE型光探测器具有高速,高量子效率,易于平面集成等优点。导出了该探测器的量子效率的表达式,分析了环形光探测器半径对FWHM的影响;分析了吸收层厚度、环形光探测器宽度及半径对响应带宽影响。

Novel Microring photodetector based on microresonator
Abstract:A novel microring photodector based microresonator is proposed. Compared with RCE photodector, this novel photodetector has compact structure, high speed, high quantum efficiency, and can be easily integrated. The expression of quantum efficiency of microring photodetetor is derived. The influence of radius of resonator on quantum efficiency is analyzed and the influence of thickness and width of absorption layer on response bandwidth is analyzed.
