摘要:2007年10月19日,无线宽带技术WiMAX正式成为3G标准,但是其在中国的发展仍然存在很多不确定性。将WiMAX与mesh技术结合,能够获得覆盖范围广,系统容量高,组网灵活的优势,适用于无线城域网组网方案。本文分析了wiamx和mesh技术的特点,从网络结构,MAC层帧结构,以及市场应用方面,给出了WiMAX与mesh组网技术解决方案。

Abstract:On October 19, 2007, WiMAX wireless broadband technology became 3G standard, and it’s the forth standard in the 3G standards. However, development of WiMAX in China is still having many uncertain factors. WiMAX technology combined with the mesh structure can increase the coverage and the capacity of system. This network structure is suitable to construct the Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WMAN). This paper proposed a WiMAX system with mesh mode and analysis the network structure, MAC layer frame structure, and its market applications.
