摘要:一雌多雄交配现象在动物界中虽广泛存在,但其进化意义尚不明确。赤拟谷盗是世界性分布的重要贮藏物害虫,也是典型的一雌多雄交配制的昆虫。雌性赤拟谷盗的多次交配行为,使得多个雄虫不得不共同分享其所产后代的父权。本文综述了精子竞争、雌虫的隐性选择等在赤拟谷盗父权决定中的重要作用,并讨论了一雌多雄交配对其雌虫的意义。

Paternity determining in polyandrous of Triolium castaneum
Abstract:Female mating with multiple male within a single fertile period is a common phenomenon in the animal kingdom, though we have no clear ideas about its significance and mechanism in evolution. The red flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum, is one of most important pests of cercal products in the world, in which females are particularly promiscuous. Both male and female have the potential to influence male paternity success and they take respectively some strategies to attain the reproductive success. In this review, we survey the importance of sperm competition, cryptic choice and so on in determining of paternity. We also discuss the evolutionary importance of polyandrous to female in Tribolium castaneum.
