一种新的利用导引符号的MIMO-OFDM同步方法

摘要:MIMO-OFDM是将MIMO和OFDM结合起来的一种新技术,该技术在OFDM无线传输系统中利用天线阵列实现空间分集,可以充分利用MIMO和OFDM的优势,既能提高分集增益和系统容量,又能增加频谱利用率,有效对抗频率选择性衰落。MIMO-OFDM技术将成为第四代移动通信系统(4G)的关键技术.因MIMO-OFDM对时间和频率偏移非常敏感,因此MIMO-OFDM同步显得尤为重要。同步技术是MIMO-OFDM的关键技术。本文提出了一种新的MIMO-OFDM同步算法,通过设置新的导引符号配置方法,可以在接收端时域得到相同的两个半段序列,进行时间粗同步和频率同步,频域再根据导引插入规则进行时间精同步。Matlab仿真结果表明,该算法能实现对多个发射天线时间延迟估计, 适用于各发射天线信号到达时延不同的情况,具有更广泛的意义,可用于分布式MIMO系统。

A new synchronization method of MIMO-OFDM using training sequences
Abstract:MIMO-OFDM is an technology which combines MIMO and OFDM.MIMO-OFDM uses antenna array in the wireless transmission system to realize space division. MIMO-OFDM can make the best use of the advantages of MIMO and OFDM, not only increasing the division gain and system capacity, but also increasing the spectrum usage ratio and resisting to frequency selecting fading, effectively. MIMO-OFDM can become the key technology of the forth generation of mobile communication(4G).Because MIMO-OFDM is very sensitive to time and frequency offset, synchronization for MIMO-OFDM is very important. Synchronization technology is the key technology of MIMO-OFDM. This paper bring forward a new synchronization method for MIMO-OFDM by setting new training sequence, then two identical half sequences can be obtained to do coarse time synchronization and frequency synchronization, in frequency domain, fine time synchronization can be accomplished by the rules of inserting training sequences. The results of Matlab simulation show that this algorithm can estimate the time delay of multi transmitter antennas, and is suitable for the instance that the arriving time of signal of the transmitter antennas is different, so this algorithm has a more far-range meaning, and can be used in distributing systems.
