一种QoS机制下系统收益最大化的IEEE 802.16接纳控制算法

摘要:由于IEEE 802.16无线城域网协议并未对接纳控制算法做出定义或建议,本文提出了一种在保证服务质量的前提下尽量增加用户数的接纳控制算法。根据协议对QoS的定义,将系统收益纳入CSI模型进行计算。并提出了改进模型,减少运算时间提高接纳率。经MMPP(Markov modulated Poisson process)模型仿真验证,该算法较传统的信道预留方式有较高的接纳率和吞吐量。

An IEEE 802.16 admission control algorithm based on system utility under QoS mechanism
Abstract:Since there is on admission control algorithm or proposal in IEEE 802.16 wireless metropolitan area networks standard, in this paper an admission control algorithm is present, which focus on increasing user quantity while guarantee service quality. And system utility is calculated under CSI satisfaction degree model, utility function acquired using least square method. An improved algorithm is also presented for compressing calculating time and increase admission probability. Simulation result derived from MMPP model (Markov modulated Poisson process) demonstrates that this algorithm has more acceptable admission rate and throughput performance, comparing with traditional Cutoff Priority method which preserves channel for connection switch.
