基于本体的信息集成系统中元数据管理的设计与实现

摘要:传统的信息集成方法很难解决数据源之间在语义上的异构性,严重影响了信息的有效利用。本体作为共享概念模型的明确的、形式化的规范说明,被认为是语义环境下信息集成的关键技术。本文在mediator/wrapper架构的基础上提出了基于本体的信息集成框架,通过元数据管理模块建立数据源与本体之间的语义映射关系,以解决数据源之间的语义异构问题。作为该框架的核心,元数据管理模块有效的协调了各异构数据源,并利用本体对数据源进行了形式化和规范化的表示,文章将重点介绍元数据管理的设计与实现。

The Design and Implementation of Metadata Management in Information Integration System Based on Ontology
Abstract:The traditional method of information integration is hard to solve the problem of semantic heterogeneity, which seriously affects the utilization of information. Ontology, specification of conceptualizations, is supposed to be the key technology in semantic information integration. On the basis of the Mediator / Wrapper framework, this paper put forward the ontology-based information integration framework, which makes use of the metadata management module to establish the semantic mapping relationship between the data source and ontology, and solves the problem of semantic heterogeneity. As the key part of the framework, the metadata management module effectively coordinates all the data source, thus, this paper put emphasis on the design and implementation of the module.
