FMI算法的疏漏及其修正

摘要:K指数的标定是地磁台站的重要工作之一,而FMI算法是一种比较科学的K指数标定算法,因为该算法能够比较合理地识别规则日变化。但是,运用FMI算法时发现:识别出的规则日变化在相邻两天的连接处存在较大的误差,此种误差源自5次谐波拟合时的“外推”操作。因此本文建议,在拟合中增加一个数据点,以此来消除这种误差,并通过实验证明这种修正是合理的。

FMI Algorithm’s Mistake and it’s Modification
Abstract:Scaling K-indices is an important work of geomagnetic observatories, and FMI algorithm is usually concerned as a good method to complete this work because it can identify solar regular variations adequately. However, we find that solar regular variations obtained by FMI have large errors at the connection point of two neighbor days. This kind of errors comes from the extrapolation operations when performing fifth degree harmonic fit. So we advise adding another data in the fitting process to eliminate the error and the result of experiment justifies this idea.
