Mixed-Order Blind Beamforming for Rectilinear Signals
首发时间:2008-11-04
Abstract:Blind beamforming for noncircular signals with distinct noncircularity-rates (NCRs) can be achieved via Takagi factorization based on the second-order statistics (SOS) only. However, the requirement on NCR diversity can not be satisfied by rectilinear signals (such as AM and BPSK signals), which can be frequently encountered in many practical applications. A mixed-order Takagi factorization method is herein proposed to handle coexisted rectilin-ear signals, wherein the fourth-order cumulant (FOC) is used to adjust virtually the NCRs of the signals, while the SOS is utilized for blind identification only. Some numerical examples are included to illustrate the performance of the proposed method. The latest version of this online-only showing has also been submitted to IEEE Antennas, & Wireless Propagation Letters.
