蜂窝网络TDOA定位方法的Fang算法研究及仿真

摘要:蜂窝无线定位服务(LCS)是一种具有广阔市场前景的移动增值业务,其基本原理是利用现有蜂窝网络,通过对各种位置特征参数, 包括到达时间(TOA)、到达时间差(TDOA)、到达方向(DOA)的测量和估计,从而实现移动用户的定位。基于时间测量值的TDOA无线定位方法在移动台定位、被动雷达定位、雷电定位、GPS导航等诸多应用中发挥着重大作用。本文介绍并分析了在无线蜂窝网络中移动台的TDOA定位方法中一种典型的定位算法-Fang算法。首先介绍了TDOA定位方法的原理和TDOA双曲线模型,之后介绍了Fang算法的基本原理。最后利用MATLAB设计TDOA定位的仿真平台,对Fang算法进行不同基站的计算机仿真,通过比较定位误差和小区半径的关系以及定位误差和移动台位置的关系来分析该算法的性能。

Fang algorithm and simulation in TDOA Location of Cellular networks
Abstract:Cellular wireless location service is a new mobile value-added service with a good market future. Its basic principle is to implement mobile user location through estimating charactistics parameters relative to position, including time-of-arrival, time-difference-of-arrival, direction-of-arrival, ect. TDOA wireless locating method based time measurement has play an important role in many applications such as mobile phone location, passive radar location, lightning location, GPS navigation, etc. This paper describes and analyzes a typical method of positioning algorithm for the mobile station TDOA location in the wireless cellular network -Fang algorithm. Firstly, it introduced the principles of TDOA location and methods of TDOA hyperbolic model. Then it introduced the basic principles of the Fang algorithm. And using MATLAB simulation platform of TDOA Location, it makes computer simulations of Fang algorithms for different base stations . By comparing the relationship between location error and the radius of the area as well as the positioning error and the location of the mobile station, it analyzed the performance of the algorithm.
