帧内预测模式下的SAD算法优化

摘要:新一代视频编码标准H.264/AVC具有更高的编码效率,更好的图像质量,更强的网络友好性和抗误码能力,但H.264标准的优势是以增加编解码器的复杂度为代价的,对算法进行优化,达到所期望的最高编解码效率具有重要的实用意义。在H.264/AVC标准协议中,帧内帧间预测占了绝大多数的时间消耗,在这些模块中又以SAD运算量为最巨。本文从编码器的耗时分析出发,以帧内亮度4x4子块为例,提出两种不同的算法减少SAD的计算量。在视觉感观及PSNR损伤不大的情况下较大的减少了SAD的运算量,达到优化效果。

SAD Algorithm Optimization in Intra Mode Decision
