对WCDMA系统小区搜索的研究

摘要:在CDMA蜂窝系统中,移动台寻找小区并且与小区的下行扰码获得码片和时间同步的过程被称为小区搜索。小区搜索性能对于整个通信系统的性能有着极其重要的影响,因为它是移动台对基站信息进行解码的基础。只有正确的小区搜索结果,才能保证移动台的正确同步进而实现正常的通信。 在WCDMA系统中,移动台要通过三步小区搜索的过程来实现与基站的同步。这三步同步分别是时隙同步,帧同步以及扰码识别。这三步同步分别利用了WCDMA系统主同步码、辅同步码以及扰码的特性。前两步基本原则是利用码子相关性进行搜索。而在扰码识别部分,引入了门限值来判断搜索结果的正确性。本文将对这些内容加以说明,并且对同步过程进行仿真,给出仿真结果。

Research on Cell Search in WCDMA system
Abstract:In a CDMA cellular system, the process of the mobile station searching for a cell and achieving code and time synchronization to its downlink scrambling code is referred to as cell search. The performance of Cell Search has vital impact on the performance of the whole communication system, because it is the foundation of mobile station’s decoding of base station information. Only with the correct Cell Search result, mobile station can have the right synchronization information and carry out normal communication. In WCDMA system, mobile stations need to finish a three-step synchronization process to synchronize with macro-cells. There three steps are slot synchronization, frame synchronization, and scrambling code synchronization. Primary synchronization code (PSC), secondary synchronization code (SSC) and scrambling code is employed respectively in these three steps. For the first two steps, code correlation performance is employed. While in scrambling code identification step, a threshold is introduced to judge the correctness of the search result. This paper will give more details on these points, and also give out the simulation result of Cell Search.
