基于嵌入式Linux的IP-ASI适配器的设计与实现

摘要:IP-ASI适配器是数字电视传输系统中的重要设备,它的功能是将因特网上的以IP形式传输的数字电视传输流转换为符合MPEG-2标准的ASI流。本文提出了一种IP-ASI适配器的设计与实现方案。该系统采用ARM9处理器和FPGA芯片为硬件平台,充分发挥了ARM9处理器的控制能力和FPGA的高速数据处理能力,系统采用嵌入式Linux 操作系统为软件开发平台。本文详细介绍了系统的硬件设计、Linux内核的移植和软件架构的设计与实现。同时,开发了客户端网络管理软件与之相配合,用户可以通过客户端的网络管理软件界面,对设备进行远程控制与管理。

Design & Implementation of IP-ASI Adapter System base on Embedded Linux
Abstract:IP-ASI Adapter System is an important device in digital television transport system. Its function is to transfer the digital television transporting stream contained in IP packets from Internet into standard ASI Stream according to MEPG-2 standard. This paper introduces a method of design and implementation of IP-ASI Adapter System. This system’s hardware platform is composed of ARM9 processor that is good at controlling and FPGA chip which is good at high-speed data process, and this system uses Linux operation system as the platform for software development. This paper introduces the hardware design, the transplanting of Linux kernel and the design & implementation of software part in detail. At the same time, we developed network management software in PC client. Users can control and manage the device remotely using the network management software.
