软交换网络的高可用性IP接入方案分析

摘要:目前,基于3GPP R4分离构架的软交换设备在中国GSM网络中已经得到了广泛应用,信令和语音的IP承载也在逐步推进;在中国TD-SCDMA网络核心网中,话音全部是IP承载。实现IP承载后,网络需要保持与现有网络相同的高可靠性,为此,各运营商均建设了高可靠性的专用IP网络。各IP专网的建设都考虑了高可用性需求,本文探讨了软交换设备接入IP网络的高可用性需求与方案,以实现端到端的高可用性。 在3GPP R4网络中,各接口的信令均可IP承载。各实体间不同的接口采用不同的信令协议,但所有高层的协议都承载在SCTP协议之上;SCTP的多归属机制为信令数据流提供了网络级的保护。语音流对网络性能的要求高于信令流,在网络故障时,为保证语音业务不受影响,通信间断不能超过50m,且通信恢复后,双方必须使用原有IP地址,才能维持通话的继续。 为实现话音的保护,可以使用VRRP或者IP FRR技术。本文对这两种技术进行了介绍,并对实际应用中可能发生的问题进行了分析.

Abstract:At present, softswitch equipment based on 3GPP R4 framework has been widely used in China’s GSM network, network traffics are migrating form time division multiplex network to IP step by step. Network operators need to keep the same service high reliability in and after this process, for this, operators are building highly reliable dedicated IP networks. this article discusses the needs and methods of high-availability IP network access for softswitch equipment, in order to achieve end-to-end high availability. In 3GPP R4 network, the SCTP multi-homing mechanism provide a network level protection for signaling traffic, but there’s no such way for voice traffic. In order to ensure voice service will not be affected, communication interruption should not exceed 50ms, and when communication is restored, both sides must use the original IP address.To achieve the protection of voice, VRRP or IP FRR technology can be used. This paper introduces these two technologies, and analyzes the problems in practice.
