一种新的基于跳数的Ad Hoc网络退避算法

摘要:为了解决无线Ad Hoc网络中不同跳数的数据流(TCP/UDP)在端到端吞吐量上存在的不公平现象,提出了一种跨层的MAC退避算法,根据从网络层获取的跳数信息,动态调整当前数据包的退避窗口,提高剩余跳数多的数据包接入信道的能力,从而提高了Ad Hoc网络的公平性。仿真结果表明,该算法在不影响网络总吞吐量的前提下,有效地平衡了不同跳数的数据流对网络资源的占用。

A Novel Backoff Algorithm Based on Hop Count in Ad Hoc Networks
Abstract:To alleviate the unfairness between the flows (TCP/UDP) with different hop count in wireless Ad hoc network, a cross-layered MAC backoff algorithm is proposed. Contention window is set dynamically for each packet based on the hop count information, which is acquired from network layer. Simulation results show that the success probability of packets in big hop count flows is greatly improved, and unfairness between traffics with different hop counts is decreased effectively, as well as the network performance being improved.
