多媒体通信的OFDM系统仿真

摘要:未来无线移动通信系统的目标是实现随时无缝的高质量、高速率的移动多媒体和数据业务传输。但是无线环境中存在的多径等特性造成系统严重的符号间干扰,同时无线移动信道的时变性使得接收机对信道特性的准确跟踪变得困难。OFDM能有效地抗多径衰落,具有非常高的频带利用率,适于宽带移动通信,OFDM是下一代移动通信系统中实现高速移动通信的最有前途的技术。本文是利用OFDM技术进行的文本调制解调系统仿真,采用的是相关方案。这个仿真中我们利用了OFDM调制技术,同步技术和由导频实现的信道估计技术。利用OFDM作为关键技术是因为它对抗码间干扰(ISI)和噪声十分有效。并且它不需要在接收端对接收信号进行严格的同步,这些优良的特点使得OFDM技术成为未来无线通信的关键技术。

Simulation of OFDM for Multimedia Communication
Abstract:The future generation wireless mobile communication systems are expected to provide ubiquitous, high-quality, and high-rate mobile multimedia transmission. However, multi-path fading radio conditions give rise to track the channel state. OFDM is an effective technique for combating multi-path fading, for high-bit-rate transmission and for high bandwidth efficiency. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation is a promising technique in 4G. This project was to design and implement an OFDM based wireless text software modem. This goal was attained in a coherent scheme. Our modem use OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) modulation, synchronization, channel estimation via pilot tones. OFDM is chosen because it is robust against inter symbol interference (ISI) and noise. Also it doesn’t need perfect synchronization of the receiver with the received signal. These factors of OFDM are making it an emerging technology for future wireless communication.
