碳微球的微观结构及电催化活性表征研究

摘要:本文对CVD法制备得到的碳微球(Carbon Microspheres,CMS)采用浸渍还原法合成了Pt/CMS复合材料,Pt载量分别为10%,20%和30%。借助XRD,FESEM及XPS对Pt/CMS复合材料进行微观结构与性能表征。结果表明制得碳微球粒径分布均匀,尺寸在300nm左右。负载在碳微球上的Pt粒子具有高度的均一性和良好的分散度,平均粒径为4-5nm,符合最佳催化要求。XRD和XPS测试表明金属Pt含量较高。利用循环伏安法(CV)比较了三种载量Pt/CMS催化剂和20%Pt/Vulcan XC-72催化剂在酸性介质中的甲醇电催化性能,得出相同载率下以CMS为载体的催化剂的电化学活性要高于Vulcan XC-72;30%载量的Pt/CMS催化剂中Pt颗粒出现团聚;由于Pt颗粒处在较佳的尺寸范围内,20%载量的Pt/CMS催化剂的甲醇电催化比质量活性要优于10%和30%的。

Microstructure characterization of Carbon Microspheres and the study of their Electrocatalytic Activities
Abstract:Based on being prepared by CVD method, Carbon Microspheres supported Pt (Pt/CMS) composites with different Pt loadings as 10%,20% and 30% were prepared via impregnation-reduction method. The samples were characterized by XRD,SEM and XPS. It showed that Pt/CMS composites took on narrow diameter distributing,with the diameter of about 300 nm. The Pt particles possess the high uniformity and good dispersity,whose average size in the range of 4-5 nm. XPS and XRD detections showed that Pt particles exist mainly in the metallic state. The methanol electrooxidation behaviors of Pt/CMS(10%,20% and 30%) and Pt/Vulcan XC-72(20%) in acid solution were evaluated by cyclic voltammograms. The result indicated that Pt/CMS has the better electrochemistry performance than Pt/Vulcan XC-72; Pt particles become serious aggregation in Pt/CMS with 30% Pt loading; additionally, profiting from the appropriate particle size of Pt, the specific quality activity for methanol of sample with 20% Pt loading was superior to others.
