金属碳酸盐催化尿素醇解合成碳酸丙烯酯的研究

摘要:尿素醇解合成碳酸丙烯酯是酯交换法合成碳酸二甲酯的重要反应之一。本文研究了多种单组分金属碳酸盐和铅锌混合碳酸盐对尿素和1,2-丙二醇合成碳酸丙烯酯反应的催化性能。结果表明,单组分盐中碳酸铅催化活性最高,其次是碳酸锌;而混合盐中Pb/Zn=3:1(摩尔比)导致了最高催化活性。本文还通过正交实验优化了反应条件。结果表明,在反应温度160℃,反应时间2h,尿素与1,2-丙二醇摩尔比1:5,催化剂用量1.8 wt.%条件下,碳酸丙烯酯的收率可达98.90%。

Synthesis of Propylene Carbonate from Urea and 1,2-propylene Glycol over Metallic Carbonates
Abstract:Catalytic activities of a series of metallic carbonates and mixed carbonates in the synthesis of propylene carbonate (PC) from urea and 1,2-propylene glycol were investigated. It was showed that among single-component carbonates lead carbonate gave the highest catalytic performance, followed by zinc carbonate, and that among Pb-Zn mixed carbonates the Pb/Zn=3:1 (molar ratio) leads to the most excellent catalytic activity. Furthermore, it was concluded from optimization experiments that the optimal reaction conditions were as follow: the reflux time at 2 hours, the molar ratio of 1,2-propylene glycol to urea at 5.0, the dosage of the catalyst at 1.8 wt% and the reflux temperature at 160 oC, resulting in a PC yield of 98.90%.
