摘要:本系统为基于WLAN的无线电子邮件移动终端,利用嵌入式系统软硬件易裁剪、Linux开放源代码和易移植的特点,设计一个通过无线网络接收和发送电子邮件的终端。利用一个无线网卡实现ARM与互联网的连接,POP3协议实现电子邮件的接收,应用SMTP协议实现发送Email的功能。硬件方面介绍了基于三星S3C2410芯片的ARM9开发板实验平台的软硬件设计与测试;软件方面论述了关于嵌入式系统交叉编译环境的建立、无线网卡的配置、用MiniGUI实现图型界面部分

Design and Implementation of WLAN E-mail Mobile Terminal
Abstract:This paper tells of a mobile terminal which can send and receive Email through wireless network. By using a wireless network card, the connection of ARM to the Internet is realized. Receiveing Email function is realized by applying POP3 protocol, and sending Email function is realized by using SMTP protocol. In hardware, this paper presents the design and test of experimental platform of ARM9 development board based on SAMSUNGs S3C2410; and in software, it describes the establishment of crossed compilation environment of embedded system, the configuration of wireless network card, the realization of graphic interface by using MiniGUI.
