Femtocell在UMTS系统下的切换性能研究

摘要:Femtocell又称毫微微蜂窝基站,作为一种新兴的热点技术被业界认为是解决室内覆盖的手段之一,它的发展将会推动固网和移动网的融合。Femtocell可以把用户通过手机发出的话音和数据业务传输到基于标准接口的3G核心网络,且它的家庭接入点即插即用,可连接到任何现有的基于IP的传送网络。本文介绍了Femtocell与WCDMA系统共存下系统模型,以及相应的用户切换准则,并分析了家庭基站在设定不同导频功率下的切换,随后提出一种自适应导频功率控制算法来减少室内外用户的不必要的切换次数。

Handover Study for Macrocell and Femtocell system based on UMTS Network
Abstract:Femtocell is a promising technology, which is regarded as one of the methods to solve the indoor coverage. The development of Femtocell will promote the convergence of fixed network and mobile network. Femtocell can transfer voice and data services sent by phone to standard interface of 3G core network and Femtocell is a plus and play device which can connect to any transmission network based on IP. This paper introduce Femtocell and WCDMA system model, and corresponding handover principle and analyze UEs handover number under the condition of the different pilot power of Femtocell. Then we put forward on an adaptive pilot power algorithm to reduce unnecessary handover number of UEs.
