水分胁迫对构树种子发芽和幼苗阶段性生长的影响

摘要:对构树种子经过H2O2处理后进行发芽试验,初步确定土壤含水量5%-30%为构树种子发芽的含水量范围,20%为发芽最适含水量。随着含水量降低,构树种子的发芽率、整齐度、发芽速度、发芽指数、芽长降低,但5%的含水量时仍然有40.7%的发芽率,而且胚轴/胚根比值减小,表现出对水分胁迫的适应性。 设置土壤田间持水量的85%-90%(CK)、70%-75%(轻度胁迫,LD)、55-60%(中度胁迫,MD)和30%-35%(重度胁迫,VD)四个水分梯度,研究构树的短期生长反应。结果表明,苗高和地径相对生长率随水分胁迫强度加大而递减,但根冠比逐渐加大。构树幼苗采取调整植株生长和生物量分配的策略来适应干旱。

Effect of water stress on the germination and stage growth of B. papyrifera L. seedlings
Abstract:Germination experiments of the H2O2 pre-treatmented B. papyrifera seeds on drought stress showed that the seeds can sprout under 5%-30% water content range, and 20% is the optimal water content for germination. Indexes such as germination rate, length of bud, germination speed and germination exponent reduced with decreasing of water content. Nevertheless, even when the water content was reduced to 5%, germination rate could still reach 40.7%, with decreased hypocotyls/ridcal.,suggesting that B. papyrifera seeds are capable of germinating under water stress. The plant’s growth response in short time to drought stress was observed in four different percentages of soil moisture, including 85%-90% (CK), 70%-75% (slight stress, LD), 55%-60% (moderate stress, MD), 30%-35% (severe stress, VD). Our results show that the relative growth rate of plant height and basal diameter significantly reduced under drought stress, and that the decreasing became larger as the drought stress grew severer while root/shoot ratio gradually increased. In other words, B. papyrifera seedlings can adapt to drought stress by modifing plant structure and increasing biomass allocation into the root component.
