TCP拥塞控制的路由缓存策略

摘要:本文以单一链路、单一TCP流量为模型,在TCP Reno和TCPW两种算法下进行理论推导,说明要获得最高的链路利用率,在TCP Reno算法下,路由缓存不小于带宽时延积,在使用了带宽估计的TCPW算法下,理论上任何大小的缓存都可以使网络获得较高的链路利用率。然后使用OPNET软件进行仿真,证实了理论推导。

The routing buffer strategy for TCP congestion control
Abstract:This paper is based on a single link,single TCP flow model,considing two TCP congestion control algorithms for theoretical derivation:one is TCP Reno while another one is TCPW.The result shows that in order to obtain the maximun link utilization,when use TCP Reno algorithm,the router buffer size is need to set no less than the bandwidth by the delay .Any size of buffer could make full useful of link utilization if use TCPW alogorithm which introduces bandwidth estimation strategies. Then use the OPNET software for simulation, confirmed the theoretical derivation.
