工作流过程模型与数据模型的融合

摘要:工作流过程模型和数据模型紧密关联,应该在设计之初就统一起来。本文介绍了一种全新的工作流过程模型MSTC (multi-step task collaboration) 网及其数据模型,并研究了部分同步模式下的模型融合方法。该方法在Jackson types的基础上,应用一个改进的数据类型系统将两个模型进行统一描述。针对同步过程问题,首先为MSTC网设计了一套化简规则,然后提出了同步过程的概念并且设计了一个树形结构及其生成算法来描述MSTC网的层次结构。由于本文的两个模型的连接点是MSTC网中的弧线work,比基于点的模型更加复杂,因此本方法设计了一个边点关系转换算法,在树形结构的基础上生成文档类型树,实现了过程模型和数据模型的融合。本文应用一个实例验证了融合方法的可行性。

Integration of Workflow Process Model and Data Model
Abstract:Process model and data model are closely related and should be integrated at the beginning of workflow modeling. In this paper, we introduce a process model called multi-step task collaboration (MSTC) net and its data model, and research on workflow model integration method for partial synchronization pattern. Based on the Jackson types, a modified data type system is used to describe the two models in a unified way. For the partial synchronization pattern, we introduce a set of reduction rules for MSTC nets, the concept of synchronization process and design an algorithm to generate a tree-like structure that describes the hierarchy of MSTC nets. Moreover, because the joint point of the two models is the arc work in MSTC net, which is more complex than node-based solutions, we design an algorithm to transform node relationship to arc relationship. Then a document type tree is derived from the tree structure of the MSTC net, which realizes the integration of the process model and data model. The feasibility of this method is illustrated by a practical example.
