菱形银纳米颗粒消光特性研究

摘要:金属纳米粒子独特的光学性质与粒子的组成、形状、尺寸、周围介质折射率及光源极化方向有关。利用时域有限差分法研究了菱形银纳米颗粒其两轴尺寸变化,光极化方向改变下对消光特性的影响,以及介质折射率变化下的消光特性,计算结果表明,在研究的光谱范围内,消光谱上仅存在一个明显的共振峰,其表面等离子体共振是偶极子激发模式,并且在平行于光源极化方向上,随着粒子比率(a/b)的增大,其消光效率增大,共振峰发生“红移”。

Optical extinction properties of rhombus Ag nanoparticles
Abstract:Optical properties of metal nanoparticles are influenced by the metal composition, shape, size, polarization direction of light and effective index of the medium around the nanoparticles. In this paper, considering the aspect ratio of the x and y axis, the polarization and the index of the surrounding medium, we have studied extinction properties of the single rhombus using finite difference time domain method (FDTD). The simulation results show that there is only one clear resonance peak in the visible area, and the corresponding plasmon mode is dipolar plasmon mode. Parallel to the direction of the light polarizations, with the aspect ratio (a/b )increasing, the resonance peak generates red-shift and the extinction efficiency increases.
