纳米凹凸棒粘土改性水性聚氨酯皮革涂饰剂的结构与性能

摘要:采用乳液共混的方法,将酸处理的凹凸棒粘土(HAT)添加到聚氨酯皮革涂饰剂乳液中,制备了凹凸棒粘土改性的水性聚氨酯皮革涂饰剂(APU)。通过FT-IR、XRD、SEM对HAT及不同含量HAT改性的APU进行了结构研究;测定了改性样品的粒径及其分布、热失重、拉伸强度、断裂伸长率、吸水率、表面静态接触角和透水汽速率,在此基础上对HAT在聚氨酯基质中的分散和对聚氨酯膜性能的影响进行了分析。结果表明,少量HAT以一维纳米结构分散在聚氨酯的基质中,它的加入可以明显提高聚氨酯膜的物理机械性能、热稳定性及卫生性能。该研究显示凹凸棒是一种有效的水性聚氨酯涂饰材料改性剂。

Structure and Property of Waterborne Polyurethane Leather Finishing Agent Modified by Attapulgite
Abstract:In this paper, waterborne polyurethane (WPU) leather finishing agent modified by acidified attapulgite (AT) is prepared by emulsion blending method. The morphologies and structures of attapulgite, acidified attapulgite (HAT) and the modified WPU, denoted as APU thereafter, have been studied by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrum (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Meanwhile, the sizes of the APU emulsions are measured to examine the dispersion of HAT in polyurethane matrix. Thermo gravimetric analysis (TG) and tests of tensile strength (TS), breaking elongation (BE), water absorption rate (WAR), static contact angle (SCA) and water vapor permeability (WVP) are used to examine the performance of APU membrane. Our results show that small amount of HAT can be dispersed in polyurethane matrix uniformly as one-dimensional nanostructure, and the mechanical property, heat-resistant stability and water vapor permeability of APU are improved accordingly. The present study indicates that attapulgite is a kind of effective nanoclay to improve the property of waterborne polyurethane leather finishing agent.
