一种适用于TD-SCDMA的频偏估计算法

摘要:由于移动终端的本地晶振精确度不高,移动终端与基站之间存在较大的频率偏差。为了接收到正确的数据,需要对频率偏差进行估计和纠正。在TD-SCDMA系统中,初始频偏值大约为20 kHz(10 ppm),而要求的最大频偏值为200 Hz(0.1 ppm)。本文介绍了一种适用于TD-SCDMA的频偏估计算法,该算法是基于最大似然估计的。利用该算法,首先使用开环估计配置,然后使用闭环估计配置。仿真结果表明,联合使用开环估计和闭环估计,可以保证把最后的频偏限制在200 Hz(0.1 ppm)之内。

A Frequency Offset Estimation Algorithm For TD-SCDMA
Abstract:Due to the inaccuracy of mobile set's local oscillator, there is a great frequency offset. In order to receive the right data, frequency offset estimation and correction are needed. In TD-SCDMA system, the initial frequency offset is around 20 kHz (10 ppm), while the requested maximum frequency offset is 200Hz (0.1 ppm). This paper presents a frequency offset estimation algorithm suited for TD-SCDMA system, which is based on maximum likelihood estimation. The algorithm is firstly used with an open loop configuration, and then it's used with a closed loop configuration. The simulation results demonstrate that a combination of an open loop estimation and a closed loop estimation can make sure the final frequency offset is less than 200Hz (0.1 ppm).
