薄板激光喷丸成形实验研究

摘要:激光喷丸成形是一种新型的无模成形工艺,在复杂型面金属板材的成形与矫形方面具有非常广阔的应用前景。采用激光喷丸成形实验,以1060工业纯铝为研究对象,研究了不同工艺参数对薄板弯曲变形量的影响。研究结果表明:薄板弯曲存在朝向激光束与背向激光束两种不同的弯曲方向,并且弯曲变形角度随着板厚连续变化,从一种弯曲方向逐渐过渡到另一种弯曲方向;提高激光功率密度,可以增加弯曲角度,但是在两种弯曲方向转换的临界板厚附近,表现为朝向激光束"∨"弯曲趋势增加,背向激光束的"∧"弯曲角度趋势降低;降低扫描速度,可以增加弯曲角度;在合适的工艺条件下,薄板激光喷丸成形后可能不发生弯曲变形。

Experimental Investigation on the laser peen forming of thin sheet metals
Abstract:In this paper, experimental investigation has been carried out to understand the effect of process parameters such as laser intensity, scanning velocity on the bending deformation of thin sheet metal with different thicknesses. It is found that the sheet metal can be made to bend not only towards but also away from the laser beam depending on the process conditions. The bending deformation is found to be varied continuously and smoothly from the concave form to the convex by increasing the sheet thickness or decreasing the laser intensity. By decreasing the scanning velocity, the bending angle is increased due to the increase of laser shocks. There is also a specific thickness for sheet metal to remain flat after laser peen forming.
