基于FPGA的视频传输系统

摘要:文中提出了一种基于FPGA的视频传输系统的设计方案,该系统采用Xilinx公司的Spartan3系列的XC3S100E FPGA作为编程芯片,结合专用视频处理芯片和高速并串转换芯片,并通过光纤实现了两台高清相机信号的长距离传输。该系统采用较低端FPGA,因此成本低,却可以实现多种型号相机的兼容性。另外,系统采用CPLD通过串口与上位机进行通信,作为系统运行状态的监控和故障分析定位。并且文中给出了系统电路原理图和程序流程图。

Video Transmission System Based on FPGA
Abstract:This paper provides a video transmission system based on FPGA design, and the system uses Xilinx's Spartan3 series XC3S100E FPGA as the programming chip, combined with dedicated video chip and high-speed multiplexing and serializing chip.It can transmit two HD camera signals through long distances. The system uses the cheaper kind of FPGA, so the cost is low, but it can be compatible with a variety of camera models. In addition, the system uses CPLD via a serial port to communicate with the host computer, running as a system of monitoring and fault location. This paper also provides circuit schematic and software flowchart of the system .
