Photoluminescence Properties of Europium Doped SrSiO3 Synthesized by Hydrothermal Method at low temperatures

Abstract:Europium doped SrSiO3 was synthesized by the hydrothermal method in a stainless-steel autoclave. The crystal structure, shape and size of the product were analyzed by X-ray Diffraction and Transmission Electron Microscopy. The reactions of the crystals SrSiO3 during the hydrothermal process were discussed based on the result of XRD patterns. The photoluminescence properties of Europium doped SrSiO3 annealed at different temperatures were measured using FL-4500 Fluorescence Spectrophotometer with a Xe lamp source. Only one red emission peak with the wavelength at 596nm was observed in the hydrothermal products without any heat treatment When samples were annealed in air at 800℃, wavelength of the red emission shifts to 604nm, and the intensity of the red emission is enhanced greatly. When the samples were treated in H2 ambience, a wide band with the wavelength at 460nm appeared with the excitation bands at 268nm and 355nm. The intensity of this band increased with the increasing of the heat treatment temperature.

摘要:采用水热合成的方法在不锈钢反应釜中制备了Eu掺杂SrSiO3发光材料,并通过X射线衍射、透射电镜对产物的结构、形状以及尺寸进行了分析。基于XRD测试结果对SrSiO3晶体在水热条件下反应过程进行了讨论。采用FL-4500型荧光光谱仪对反应产物在不同温度热处理条件下的发光性能进行了测试。结果表明,未经处理的水热产物只存在强度较低的波长位于596nm的红色发光,经空气中的热处理发光波长位于604nm,并且大大提高其发光强度。当样品经过H2气氛中不同温度的热处理出现了波长位于460nm的宽带发光,其激发波长位于268nm和355nm。该绿色发光强度随着处理温度的提高而明显上升。
