基于薄板样条变换的三维全牙模型重建

摘要:牙颌石膏模型广泛地应用于口腔正畸学和牙颌数字化建模中,但是由于牙颌石膏模型本身并不包含牙根信息,使得需要全牙信息的模拟排牙受此局限。本文通过将数字化牙颌石膏模型与标准全牙模型相结合,提出了一种能够生成包含牙根信息的个性化三维全牙模型方法。首先定义从标准全牙模型牙冠部分到石膏牙颌模型牙冠部分的点对映射,然后生成在点对映射约束下的薄板样条变换,最后对标准全牙模型应用变换生成带有牙根信息的三维全牙模型。实验结果显示本文所提出的方法能够生成个性化三维全牙模型的完整形态。

3D Whole Tooth Reconstruction based on Thin-plate Splines
Abstract:The dental plaster model has been widely used in discrete dental modeling and orthodontics. But it does not contain the tooth root information, while the oral treatment simulation application requires additionally tooth root information and is obstructed. This paper proposed a novel method that generates 3D whole tooth models, by combining the discrete dental plaster models with standard prior tooth models. The method constructed a thin-plate splines transformation, which depends on the point pair mapping between the dental plaster tooth crown and the standard tooth crown. Then, we apply the transformation on the standard tooth models to generate the 3D whole tooth models. Experiments show that our method can generate personalized 3D whole tooth models with their root information.
