浮动催化法炭纤维表面原位生长碳纳米管

摘要:在炭纤维基底上制备碳纳米管,并以其作为复合材料的增强体,有望提高炭纤维复合材料的性能,尤其是层间剪切强度。研究了利用浮动催化法在炭纤维基底上制备碳纳米管。重点考察了制管温度与时间对碳纳米管生长的影响。结果表明,浮动催化法可以在炭纤维表面制得质量良好的碳纳米管。

In Situ Growth of Carbon Nanotubes on the Surface of Carbon Fibers by Floating Catalyst Method
Abstract:It is prospective to improve the strength of carbon fiber-reinforced composites by growing carbon nanotubes on carbon fibers. Especially interlaminar shear strength of the composites would be improved greatly with the new reinforcement. In this paper, we study on in situ growing carbon nanotubes on carbon fibers by floating catalyst method, and emphasize on the effect of temperature and time on the growth of carbon nanotubes. The results show that we can get carbon nanotubes of good quality on the surface of carbon fibers by floating catalyst method.
