PCI Express总线在存储卡的设计与应用

摘要:利用PCIE总线技术,实现了FC(Fibre Channel)数据存储卡与PC的高速连接。通过分析PCI Express 协议原理和Virtex5 PCIE硬核(EndPoint Block Plus for PCIE)模块结构与功能,设计基于Virtex5 LX50T 的FC数据存储卡。结合共享内存、DMA等技术,2.125 Gb/s的FC数据流经过存储卡,通过PCIE总线能高速可靠的存储到PC上的磁盘阵列中。

The design and application of PCI Express bus in data storge card
Abstract:Using of the PCIE bus technology, the FC storage card can connect personal computer in high Speed. Through analysing the PCI Express specification, the structure and function of Virtex5 PCIE hard core (EndPoint Block Plus for PCIE) in this article. A Fibre Channel storage card based on Virtex5 LX50T chip is designed. Combining shared memory, DMA technology, the 2.125 Gb/s FC data through the card is stored in RAID(Redundant Array of Independent Disk) rapidly and securely based on PCIE bus.
