基于FPGA的Sobel算子的研究与实现

摘要:针对视频检测系统中图像边缘检测处理的速度问题,提出了用FPGA来设计Sobel边缘检测系统的方法。该系统采用Altera公司的FPGA(现场可编程门阵列)芯片作为中央处理器.由图像数据采集模块、SDRAM控制模块、VGA输出控制模块、数据处理模块及相关配置电路组成。设计采用并行处理结构和流水线技术,大大提高了图像的处理速度。本系统还可应用与图像高速处理的场合。

Research and Implementation of Sobel Operator Based on FPGA
Abstract:Video detection system for edge detection processing speed is proposed to design using FPGA Sobel edge detection systems.The system uses Altera's FPGA (field programmable gate array) chip as the central processor. By the image data acquisition module, SDRAM control module, VGA output control module, data processing module and the configuration circuit. Designed withparallel processing structure and pipeline technology, greatly improving the image processing speed. The system can also be applied with high-speed image processing applications.
