基于ER-TPC的60GHz无线通信时隙分配方案

摘要:基于60GHz毫米波无线通信传输特性,对60GHz无线个域网(Wireless Personal Area Networks,WPANs)空间复用方案进行了深入研究。从低功耗、高性能要求出发,在现有ER(Exclusive Region)算法基础上结合功率控制技术,提出了一种基于ER-TPC(Exclusive Region-Transmitting Power Control)的时隙分配改进方案。针对收发双方不同的天线组合模式,对其ER区域予以具体分析和性能比较。仿真结果显示,采用功率控制后的改进方案的性能明显优于固定发射功率下的现有方案。同时,定向天线的引入可进一步补偿毫米波通信中的高路径损耗,提高空间复用增益。

ER-TPC based time-slot allocation scheme for 60GHz wireless communications
Abstract:Considering the transmission feathers of 60GHz millimeter-wave wireless communications, it takes deep research on the spatial reuse schemes for 60GHz based WPANs(Wireless Personal Area Networks). An ER-TPC(Exclusive Region-Transmitting Power Control) based improved timeslot allocation scheme is proposed for the low-power high-performance requirement, which combines the power control technique with the existing ER(Exclusive Region) algorithm. Specific analysis and performance comparison are conducted for different antenna mode of trasmitting and receiving nodes. Simulation results show that the improved scheme, which adopts power control idea, can always outperform the existing one based on constant transmitting power. In addition, directional antennas can further compensate the high path loss in millimeter-wave communications, thus enhance spatial reuse gains.
