DYNAMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CATENARY TRANSFORMER IN ULTRASONIC GEAR HONING

Abstract:To solve the design problem of transformer composed of none-resonance structure in ultrasonic gear-horning, force coupling conditions for medium thick annular plate(MTAP) and catenary horn are proposed, and the frequency equations of the transformer, which consists of MTAP and horn, are derived based on Mindlin's theory. Then, the design parameters of the transformer are got by solving the frequency equations with the help of MATLAB and demonstrated by modal analysis of finite element method, the resonant frequencies and vibration modes are consistent with each other. The transformer design can be extended from thin annular plate to MTAP as the theoretical method.

超声珩齿悬链型变幅器动力学特性
摘要:为了解决非谐振单元超声珩齿变幅器设计问题,提出了中厚圆环板及变幅杆的力耦合条件,基于Mindlin理论推导了悬链型变幅杆和中厚圆环板组成的变幅器的频率方程。利用MATLAB软件求出了变幅器设计参数的数值解,用有限元对该变幅器进行模态分析,发现振动模态完全相同,谐振频率与数值解非常接近。该理论方法使变幅器设计由薄圆环板类齿轮拓展到中厚圆环板类齿轮。
