摘要:协作多点传输技术(CoMP)能有效抑制小区间同频干扰,改善边缘用户性能,是第四代移动通信系统IMT-Advanced中的一项重要技术。IMT-Advanced协作多点传输技术试验系统正是基于此背景,其目标是在1Gbps数据量级的无线传输下,保证业务的服务质量(Qos),同时对CoMP技术的实现提供支持。如何设计合适的MAC层协议,完成高数据速率下IP层与物理层的业务复用/解复用,并提供支持CoMP的基站间通信信令和交互时序成为了系统能否成功的关键。本文所提MAC层协议规范正是为了解决这一问题而设计的,在IMT-Advanced协作多点传输试验系统中得到了具体应用。

The MAC Layer Protocol Design of IMT-Advanced Coordinated Multipoint(CoMP) Demonstrate System
Abstract:Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) technique is one of the key techniques in IMT-Advanced system, which is designed to attenuate inter-cell frequency interference, improve performance of cell-edged users. In this back ground, IMT-Advanced CoMP Demonstrate System is aimed to reach high Quality-of-Service (Qos) and support CoMP techniques, under a high data-rate up to 1Gbps in wireless communication. How to design a proper MAC layer protocol in order to accomplish multiplex/demultiplex in high data rate, while supporting BS to BS CoMP related signaling and timing sequence becomes a significant key to success. The MAC layer protocol stated in the paper is designed to address the problem, which is a necessary component of IMT-Advanced CoMP Demonstrate System.
