基于BCJR算法的低复杂度CPM信号信道容量值计算

摘要:对无记忆调制系统,如BPSK、QPSK、QAM系统,信道容量的计算理论上已有成型的公式,计算机仿真也容易实现。但对有记忆调制系统,如连续相位调制(CPM)系统,计算受限信道容量理论上非常困难,即使使用一般的数值计算方法计算机也很难处理。本文结合互信息的特点,将CPM系统建模为有限状态机模型(FSM),并引入BCJR的算法对CPM信号信道容量进行计算。为了降低计算的复杂度,在CPM信号Laurent分解基础上对计算复杂度做简化,实现了低复杂度的CPM信号信道容量值计算。

Low Complexity CPM Channel Capacity Calculation based on BCJR Algorithm
Abstract:Channel capacity calculation for memory-less modulation channels, such as BPSK, QPSK, QAM, are physically mature and can be easily realized by computer simulation, while the calculation for channels with memory , sucn as continues phase mudulation (CPM), are still very difficult. Although there are some research of numerical methods, most of them have high complexity. In this paper, a model named finite state machine (FSM) is proposed. Considering the character of matual information, channel capacity of CPM signal can base on BCJR algorithm. in order to reduce complexing, an algorithm based on Laurent decomposition is also proposed.
