一维二氧化钛-硫化镉纳米结构制备与表征

摘要:成功设计出一种简易的溶剂热合成法,以[0001]生长方向的纤锌矿CdS纳米线与TiO2纳米管为初始反应物,以NaOH乙醇溶液作为中间溶剂,在160-180 oC的水热反应温度下合成出CdS-TiO2异质纳米结构。系统研究了这种异质纳米结构的结构特性及其生长机理。研究表明TiO2纳米颗粒选择性地定向生长在CdS纳米线的一端,形成一种独特的异质纳米结构。TiO2纳米管结构的不稳定性及CdS纳米线的极性是合成这种异质纳米结构的最重要参数。TiO2纳米管结构的不稳定性导致TiO2纳米管在溶剂热过程中首先重构为细小的TiO2微核。同时, 对于[0001]生长方向的CdS纳米线,具有更多悬键的S(000-1)极性面具有较强的化学反应活性,更容易作为TiO2核进一步生长的活性位点。TiO2微核在S(000-1)极性面上团聚,生长,最终形成TiO2-CdS异质纳米结构。

Synthesis and Characterization of one-dimensional TiO2/CdS nanostructure
Abstract:A facile solvothermal method was designed to fabricate TiO2-CdS heterostructured nanostructures at the temperature range from 160 to 180 oC. In the synthesis process, wurtzite CdS nanowires with [0001] growth direction and TiO2 nanotubes was used as precursors, and the NaOH ethanol solution as medial solvent for the synthesis of the heterostructures. The microstructure and growth mechanism of the heterostructures were detailedly investigated. The characterization results indicate that the TiO2 nanoparticles selectively deposited on the tip of the CdS nanowires, resulting in novel heterostructured nanostructures. It is found that both the unstability of the TiO2 nanotubes and the polarity of the CdS nanowires are the most important parameters for the growth of the heterostructures. The unstability of the TiO2 nanotubes leads to the transmission of TiO2 nanotubes into TiO2 nuclei. Morover, as for the CdS nanowires with [0001] growth direction, S terminated (000-1) facets have more dangling bonds. So, the S terminated (000-1) facets are most chemically active, and can serve as active sites for the selective nucleation and growth of TiO2. TiO2 nuclei can deposit and further grow on the S terminated (000-1) facets, which results in final 1D TiO2-CdS heterostructures.
