The study on the damping characteristic of the micro electromagnetic relay

Abstract:The air damping will become an important factor that it will dominate the micro-structure of characteristics in the case of micro scale. So, the research of the damping characteristics is important to the design of the micro electromagnetic relay. The mathematical model of micro electromagnetic relay is build with the dynamics equation of mechanical and electrical systems, namely Lagrange -Maxwell equation. The system model is simulated by the software of MATLAB with different damping coefficient. The simulation shows that the affect on the status of motion of the armature after the release is very greater and the working life of micro electromagnetic relay will be extended with the increasing of the air damping coefficient.

微电磁继电器的阻尼特性研究
摘要:在微/纳器件中,空气阻尼力将成为影响器件运动特性的重要因素。微机械电磁继电器采用活动衔铁的运动实现开关转换,因此,研究空气阻尼对微电磁继电器的影响对设计微电磁继电器具有重要作用。论文采用拉格朗日-麦克斯韦方程建立微电磁继电器的数学模型,采用MALAB软件建立其系统模型,通过调整系统的阻尼系数分析阻尼对微电磁继电器系统的影响,如吸合时间、释放时间和释放后的稳定性等。结果表明:阻尼对释放后活动衔铁的运动状态影响较大。
