Intensity dependence of photoassociation spectrum of ultracold Cs2(6P1/2)0u+ state

Abstract:We present the high-resolution photoassociation spectroscopy of ultracold cesium molecular 0+ u state below the 6S1/2+6P1/2 limit. We observe saturation of the photoassociation scattering probability from the dependence of the trap-loss probability on the photoassociation laser intensity. We also find that the corresponding resonant line-width increases linearly with photoassociation laser intensity. Our experimental data is in good agreement with the theoretical saturation model by Bohn and Julienne.

超冷铯分子(6P1/2)0u+态光缔合光谱的饱和效应
摘要:在获得高分辨率光缔合光谱的基础上,对超冷铯分子0u+态(6S1/2+6P1/2)的分子的饱和效应做了深入研究。采用俘获损耗光谱技术获得高分辨率的振动光谱,并对相应的0u+态进行细致分析。通过改变光缔合光的强度对相应的俘获损耗几率进行研究,光缔合几率随光缔合光的强度增加而增加,最终趋于一定的值,从获得的谱线中很清晰的可以看到饱和效应,进而对相应的共振线宽作了观测,线宽与光缔合光的强度呈现出线性关系。我们的实验数据与散射理论结果符合的很好。
