摘要:阳离子性两亲共聚物能模仿天然抗菌肽的两个基本特征。甲基丙烯酸酯含有碳碳双键,性质活泼,易发生自聚,或与其他含碳碳双键的单体共聚。本文通过自由基聚合反应制备阳离子性甲基丙烯酸酯类衍生物。通过改变参与共聚的疏水单体的侧链结构,调节了所得共聚物的疏水性;通过改变链转移剂与单体的投料比,控制共聚物聚合度,使所得各共聚物的聚合度一致。

Synthesis of Cationic and Amphiphilic Methacrylate Copolymers as Mimics of Antimicrobial Peptides
Abstract:Cationic and amphiphilic copolymers mimic the two fundamental structural motifs of natural antimicrobial peptides. Methacrylates can self-polymerize or copolymerize with other monomers with C-C double bonds. In this paper, we prepared a series of cationic and amphiphilic methacrylate derivatives via free radical polymerization. By changing the side-chain structure in the hydrophobic monomer, we tuned the hydrophobicity of the as-prepared copolymers; by changing the ratio of chain transfer agent and monomers in the reaction mixture, we adjusted the degrees of polymerization of the as-prepared copolymers and obtained a family of copolymers of same degree of polymerization.
