一种基于内容热度的NDN缓存替换算法

摘要:命名数据网络(named data network,NDN)是一种以数据为中心的新型网络体系架构。内容缓存在NDN中起到了关键性的作用。现有的缓存策略未能充分利用内容的热度而导致在动态变化的网络中缓存效率不高。为了在缓存替换策略中充分利用内容的热度,本文提出了一种基于内容热度的缓存替换策略(Cache replacement policy based on Content Popularity, CCP),它将内容热度因素引入缓存替换策略中,并设计了相应的数据结构及替换算法。模拟实验结果表明,基于热度的缓存替换策略在减少缓存替换率的同时提高了全网络的缓存效率,验证了CCP缓存策略在NDN网络中的有效性。

A Content Popularity Based Cache Replacement Algorithm for NDN
Abstract:Named data network (NDN) is a novel network architecture centered on content. Content caching plays an important role in NDN. Existing cache replacement policy failed to take full advantage of the content popularity. In order to fully utilize the content popularity in the cache replacement policy, the paper proposes a cache replacement policy based on content popularity(CCP), and designs the data structure format and replacement algorithm. The simulation results show that CCP policy decreases the cache replacement rate while improving the cache efficiency of the whole network. The effectiveness of the CCP strategy is proved during the simulation.
