局部直方图熵在红外图像小目标检测中的应用

摘要:红外小目标检测在红外遥感图像处理中起着重要的作用的作用。本文根据香农提出来的香农熵的概念,结合图像二维熵和图像局部熵的概念,提出了局部直方图熵图(local histogram entropy map - LHEM)的概念。接着,本文分析了局部直方图熵的特征,实验表明,局部直方图熵具有很强的边缘检测能力。最后,本文将LHEM用在不同背景的小目 标检测中,并从定量和定性两个方面来比较LHEM算法的性能,实验表明,本文提出的方法在小目标检测中是有效性的、且是鲁棒的。

Infrared small target detection based on histogram entropy map
Abstract:Infrared small-target detection plays an important role in image processing for infrared remote sensing. In this paper, according to the concept of Shannon entropy, local histogram entropy map is proposed combining the concepts of local entropy with image entropy, which is to solve that problem by enhancing small targets. Then, this paper analyzes the property of the local histogram entropy map, experiments show that the local histogram entropy has a strong edge detection. Finally, LHEM is used to detect small targets in images with different background, and both quantitative analysis and qualitative comparison confirm the validity and efficiency of the presented approach.
