High temperature piezoelectric properties of Cr-modified calcium bismuth niobate (CaBi2Nb2O9)

Abstract:The piezoelectric, dielectric, and electromechanical properties of Cr-modified calcium bismuth niobate (CaBi2Nb2O9, CBN) were investigated. The piezoelectric properties of CBN ceramics were significantly enhanced by Cr modifications. The 0.5 wt.% Cr2O3 modified CBN ceramics possess the optimal piezoelectric properties, and the piezoelectric coefficient (d33) and Curie temperature (Tc) are found to be 18 pC/N and 914 oC, respectively. The temperature-independent electromechanical properties and good thermal stabilities, together with its enhanced piezoelectric activities and high Curie temperature, make Cr-modified CBN ceramics promising candidates for high temperature piezoelectric applications....(10 Points, Times New Roman)

摘要:本文研究了铋层状结构铌酸铋钙(CaBi2Nb2O9, CBN)铁电陶瓷的介电、压电和机电特性。研究结果表明:Cr对Ti的替换明显提高了CaBi2Nb2O9压电陶瓷的压电性能. 当Cr2O3质量分数x为0.50 wt.%时,材料具有最高的压电性能,其压电常数d33可达18 pC/N, 其居里温度Tc为914oC。经Cr改性后的CBN具有优异的高温机电特性, 可用作高温传感应用.
